Pass Plus Course

The Pass Plus course has been designed by the Driving Standards Agency in conjunction with several of the UK's largest car insurance companies. The aim to assist drivers who have recently passed their practical driving test to receive a discount on their insurance cost following this recognised training course. The course is made up of 6 modules including: Motorways, Dual carriageways, Rural Roads, Town Roads, Night Driving and Driving in all weather conditions. These topics are designed to add to New drivers skills and help them gain valuable experience in these aspects of driving.

Once the driving has been completed and the new skills have achievedthe required standard, a certificate will be issued by the Driving Standards Agency. Many Insurers will then offer the New Driver a discount of up to 30% off their motor insurance upon production of this certificate. The discount received will often more than pay for the cost of the Pass Plus training course.
